Cruisers' Weekend at Catalina

Plan on getting to Catalina Island for Oct. 10 - 11. This is when cruisers all along the West Coast start migrating south and convene at beautiful Two Harbors for a great weekend of parties, seminars, talking story and generally appreciating everything cruising has to offer. We'll kick things off with Happy Hour at the Harbor Reef Bar on Friday evening with Eric Stone providing the cruising tunes sponsored by the Maritime Institute. Saturday will be filled with informative seminars, exhibitor booths, and maybe a silly dinghy race or two. Then in the evening we'll host an authentic cruisers potluck and beach party. Then in the evening we'll have an authentic cruisers potluck and beach party hosted by Lats & Atts, Spectra Watermakers, Harken, Forespar and Hunter Marine. We'll provide the beer, wine & hot coals for the BBQ. You bring a pot luck item to share, something for the barbie and your appetites. Eric Stone will again provide the cruising tunes. We'll be raffling off a whole bunch of neat stuff, including a Sea Breath two-person diving system, and we'll dance the night away. Don't miss it! Moorings are usually plentiful this time of year, plus there's plenty of room to anchor.
